Bike woes

I'm back... sorta. I have a free two months at aol, but since I realized just how much i missed it, I see this as two months in which to get things straight again and get back on permanent like.
So, I sign on and my computer, which i have had for several months now, has an automatic update program that scans for any problems then prompts you to fix them. Virus protection and whatnot. So, it being so long since I have been online, i am stuck downloading and installing like a mad fiend right now. Gotta love it.
Bike news. It being a week since I updated this thing, let me fill you in. After I went outside last week, I was chagrinned to discover that some ne'er do wel had in fact stolen my back tire while I was in the library. Not just my back tire either, but also my sprocket/ gear set. Fuckers.
So i called the shop the next day, and got a piece ordered, and was to have it installed today. The snag was that whomever ordered my tire fucked up and they wanted to attach a ten speed wheel to my mountain bike. no thank you. i ended up leaving it there, and ordering the part I really need. they'll have it for me next week or so, And, the kicker? The bike cost me $230 to buy- the back tire alone will cost me $120. Fuckers! This coming on top of a mightily expensive cell phone bill and the week I was away from work due to GE, and I am very very close to broke.
Well, like a good Cephy i have a decent amount in rolled coins as an emergency back up but that's not even really that much. It's a good thing that my survivalist instincts are kicking in and I am again slipping into that survive on 30 a week that i learned while living with Brooke last year.
And work! it's been very hard to stay there, since I realized that it being a ten mile or so hike from home, it just really isn't worth the time I take to get there. But, the pain in the ass has left the building, and there are enough damned cute new servers to keep me happy. Now they are all 19, but... as my ex once told me, age is only what you make of it.
Anyways, that's it for right now. i have oodles more to add, but the desire to do other stuff is too strong.
