Aftermath of FOF

Blah. I have a HUGE entry ready to go, but since I wrote it on my comp, and Chrissy's, which I use to post from, doesn't read the file extension that I use. *Sigh* Story of my life, sadly. And believe me, when I say Huge, I mean it- this mother is big, and covers a wide range of topics.
Soooooo, when you can't post the topics you want to post, then there is only one recourse- post new stuff.
Here goes- as many of you know, FoF was this past weekend. The event itself was tons of fun for me, I did really nothing other than drink, carouse, and hang out with Sue (Sir Liz.) It was a lot of fun based on the conversations we had, just seeing one another after being out of touch for so bloody long. That and the drumming circle totally rocked. I did get to teach a few new players the art of doumbeks and djembe's, as well acompany Sue as she played a tambourine like it was a Bohdran. (God, i sooooooooo want one.)
Some cool highlights, getting to see Sue and all my friends that i have missed of late, even my ex, she whosoever for the extent of her pregnancy shall be forthwith referred to as "the Amazing Rotundity." Sure, sure- it could be taken badly, I know, but she knows I love her and mean only the best for her. (At least i hope so- Short-Round could do a lot of damage if she wanted to. :))
Also seeing Brooke, Mary, Scott, John, Josh, Megan, Jerry, Gary, Mouse, Davy, Kate, Ken, etc, etc, etc and so forth. It's been along week- my memory isn't what it should have been, really.
Also, waking up on the wrong side of a Chinese Dragon isn't what everyone cracks it up to be either.
One thing I do remember quite clearly though, since it is still with me, is waking up Sunday morning with a swollen jaw. After seeing the med, who said it might be a blocked salivary gland i went on about the business of breaking down my tent and getting ready to go. They told me give it 24 hours and then head to the hospital to have it looked at.
By Monday the swelling had dropped a bit, and I decided to rough it out and see if I could get it down myself. Well, it's thursday, and I still have a lump that bugs me. Problem is, i don't have any insurance so i can't go get it looked at yet. Insurance should be up by the end of the week, I hope, and I can go get it taken care of. I am pretty sure it's an abcess. Just goes to show, never had good teeth, and if this keeps up, by the time I am 40 I will have a set of dentures in my mouth. Lovely.
Anyways, that's that- i have some research to do for someone so i'm ending this post here.
Love ya's,
Cephy
