Munchkins Attack!

Well, after having two straight days off from work, I am now ready to go back to work. No, just kidding- I really want the weekend off, but I know that since FoF is coming up I can afford to wait.
I did have a pretty good time these last two days though. Thursday i hooked up with Frank around four and we drove around town for a while, shopping and the like. We stayed in town since everyone else was going to Pizza Hut for this Support Cystic fibrosis dinner there. 20% of everyone's bill would be donated from dinner to the foundation. While waiting for that we ran by my work to see a few people and passed the idea by Bob who loved it. Were going to speak to rachel about it when she gets back in a few weeks.
Dinner was good, being sandwiched between Crazy CC and her mom. The conversation never lacked and Frank and DD actually started a small food fight.
After this we just went back to the house where I got online and surfed and everyone else kinda just played a game on the server they have set up here.
After waking up, I say around and napped until about 12, then Frank, Kate and i went shopping some more. I have to say, the day with those two was crazy. Kate was hyper, thanks to some strawberries and eating at Chick-Fil-A. We went to Arundel Mills, this huge super mall down towards Baltimore and spent the day in that area. Heh- poor Kate- we tried to tell her the mall was nearly three miles long but she wouldn't believe us. Her legs are now tired... I honestly don't know about three miles but it is damned huge.
We didn't find what we originally went looking for but we did pick up this fun card game called Munchkin, or rather the Space version of it. Basically it's a spoof on D+D and all things entertwined. For instance, there was a sidekick card named a red Shirt. He didn't help you defeat anything but if you fought something and won, you rolled a die. On a roll of six he sacrificed himself for you anyways, and died. very funny stuff. Chrissy, in a rude move, made Cthulu a wandering monster to add onto the already huge bastard i was fighting, and prevented me from winning. Bitch. But fun. Basically we are now thinking of dragging this and a few other decks to Feast of Fools and maybe seeing in HBB or others would like to enjoy a game or two. I think adding alchohol to the mix will only heighten the experience.
All in all the day was fantastic and quite fun. I can't wait to do something like this again. (Though the discussion of how easy it would be to afford five days at Disney was a bit disturbing, and doable...)
Anyways- I am out.
Love you all,
Cephy
