A Happening at Work

Dear Dear Autie-tum....
The song you mentioned is really good, I agree- in fact, it was even good way back when the Beatles originally did it... This version, well it's modern and I thought they did a good job on it. I hope the video is on the Gothika dvd, which comes out today. (Best buy here I come)
In other news- I think I was somewhat responsible for a fire at my job. See, I left there at two am the other night, and in the space of four hours a fire began in the back room, melting a trash can and so forth. The cause? A lit cigarrete smoldering under some trash. I don't smoke, well not currently due to my brother developing lung cancer, but I do remember taking an ash tray and dumping it into a can and putting it back there. I didn't rinse the ash tray to make sure that the butt's were out, in fact didn't even think about it, and went on with my night oblivious.
No damage happened, really, aside from some smoke fumes and what not, but my manager that was there got written up for it because it happened on his watch and he may end up losing his job if the head honcho at work hears about it. I don't want this to happen, so I'm going to go in and talk to someone and tell them I think it was my fault. Technically, I *could* lose my job because of this, but that's the chance I will have to take.
And really, so what if I lose it? I have been hating it recently anyways...
I just can't let them fire someone with it not being their fault, especially if I were to blame for it. My mother didn't raise me to be like that and though it's a hard road to take, admitting fault, well, fuck it, right?
